What it Means to Volunteer
Volunteering can be a highly rewarding experience, for both the volunteer and the individuals whose lives are touched by the volunteer. No special skills or experience is needed, just a desire to be of service, an enthusiasm to learn and a willingness to work under supervision.
As one RADD volunteer notes, “The agency provides excellent opportunities for the disabled to get out, try new things, and meet new people. I enjoy interacting with the members and it lifts my spirits to see everyone having so much fun.”
