How to Become a Volunteer
Download an application or call the office at 633-0291 and set up an appointment with Tina to find what opportunities we have to offer. When working with youth programs volunteers need to be at least 14 years old and for adult programs at least 16 years old.
Ways to Volunteer
Volunteer Your Time at Program Events

Become a friend to a youth or adult while volunteering your time at individual program events

Assist with decorating for special events or themed dances

Prepare or serve food at holiday events or end of the year parties
Assist with Organization Tasks Prior to Program Start-Up

Set up arts and craft projects prior to the start of our summer camp or other agency activities

Organize sensory materials and adaptive tools prior to the start of summer camp
Share your talents
- Sing or play an instrument during special activities and events
- Sew costumes or assist with props for music and theater performances
- Introduce a favorite hobby to a youth or adult group
Help with Fundraising

Volunteer your time during the course of fundraisers (Previous fundraisers have included Baskin Robbins Celebrity Scoop Night, Walmart Hot-Dog Stand, Barnes and Noble Bookfair, Culvers Night Fundraiser)
- Make phone calls to recruit other volunteers to donate their time at fundraising events
- Create and/or distribute flyers to assist with promotion of events
